
Before joining the faculty of his alma mater, Chef Branden Lewis was the Chef Instructor at The Genesis Center, an adult education and workforce development program located in Providence, Rhode Island. He now teaches in the Culinary Nutrition department at the Johnson & Wales University College of Culinary Arts and has been a member of the team responsible for the development of the new Wellness and Sustainability concentration. Chef Lewis's area of expertise is in plant-based cuisine.
Chef Lewis is committed to the sustainable food movement. In 2008, he was named one of Edible Rhody Magazine's Food Heroes. As an undergraduate, he was selected for numerous awards and recognition including the Gaebe Award and the Trustees' Award.
