Mary Anne has one of the largest collections of perennial geraniums, whose common name is "Cranesbill" on the East Coast.  She has been collecting them for the last 25 years.  Come experience her PowerPoint presentation introducing you to most of her favorites as well as many you may never have heard of.  See them in combinations with other perennials, learn how many different ways they can be used in your garden.

In 1999 Guy founded Sticks & Stones Farm, a 93 acre family run farm.  Utilizing his working knowledge of hydroponic farming techniques, Guy is the inventor of the U-Gro, a hydroponic growing system for home and commercial use.  He is a local lecturer, educator, and expert on hydroponic farming and gardening.

Preserving the Herbal Harvest

Air drying is only one of many ways to preserve the herb gardens bounty.  Betz Golon aka Mrs. Greenjeans, is a Master Preserver with the University of Maine's co operative extension and herbalist for the last active Shaker Community in New Gloucester, Maine.

How to Grow Roses

Each demonstration focuses on rose gardening basics such as planting, pruining, fertilizing, insect and disease control, and plant selection.  It also includes a hand-out as well as practical rose gardening tips while allowing time for questions and answers.  The demonstrations are conducted by Mike & Angelina Chute.
