Providence, RI, January 28, 2010 – Visit the 17th Annual RI Spring Flower & Garden Show on the evenings of February 18, 19 and 20, between 6 and 9 pm, and enjoy a discounted dinner along with discounted Show tickets.

This year’s theme, “Timeless Gardens,” sets the stage for spectators to journey through past decades from the Roaring Twenties to the flower power days of the 60’s.  The RI Spring Flower & Garden Show, the longest standing and largest flower show in New England, attracts more than 30,000 attendees annually and will showcase 5,000 different blooms in over 30 garden displays.

While witnessing the thirty themed gardens, attendees can purchase garden tools, art works, flowers, seeds, jewelry and more from over 150 marketplace vendors and artisans.

The RI Convention Center is centrally located downtown, convenient to many of Providence’s fine restaurants participating in the evenings’ pleasure, including 3 Steeple Street, Pot Au Feu and Local 121. Parking at the Convention Center is $10; parking at Providence Place Mall is $1 for the first 3 hours ($4 for 4 hours); both facilities are connected to the Convention Center.

The Specials apply to Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights only and offer a 20% discount on food, only. Discounted adult tickets are $15 (regularly $17 at the door). Children six and under are free. For event and ticket information for the Rhode Island Spring Flower & Garden Show, please visit www.flowershow.com.
